February 3,2013 BACK TO STITCHING
Time to get back to cross stitch again and what better place to start than to make a small gift for a friend. I was cleaning out some leaflets and found a Lizzie Kate Snippet called Love is Best. I am using most of the original color scheme, but I never use it all. This started out for one person, but as I stitch, I have many others in mind that I may give it to. I am always making modifications in patterns and colors to call a project mine and when i make a mistake, i try not to take stitches out, I call it a design modification of someone Else's pattern,

I am a busy grandma with a busy grandson who lives with me. I like to do a lot of crafts and I am involved in activities outside the house when I feel up to it. I have been a 4-H leader for 25 years. I want to be involved in my Church and I am looking for where I fit in. I like to make a lot of my gifts and have a working list of things I want to make. I can crochet, do counted cross stitch, quilting, etc. I am always ready to try a new craft.

I just signed up today for Stitching the night away again. I am looking forward to stitching sets of ornaments for my family and friends this year. I want to clean out my craft stuff and finish some snowmen and work on a sampler for my son and his wife and finish the tissue box cover for my daughter and her hubby. I found a cute cross stitch to make for my grandson that I want to make too! Momma bee

Ready to Stitch in 2013
I am looking forward to getting back to my cross stitch on 2013. I plan to join a group called "Stitching the night Away" If you love cross stitch, you will like this group. I also hope to start designing my own line of small inspirational samplers, look for the first one to be out in early February. This will be a Freeebie. I will use the Name "Momma Bee's Things" unless it is already copyrighted. I have a back-up if that doesn't work. I will keep you informed of what I am doing. I just wrote a Haiku that will be used by a stitching group on a Quilt to be given to a family member of the Sandy Hook Shootings. I can't share here, but will tell you later.
